What an honor to have the opportunity to interview the legendary Michael Phelps!🥇
🏊♂️Not only is Michael Phelps the GREATEST SWIMMER OF ALL-TIME 🐐 he’s also the most decorated OLYMPIAN of ALL-TIME with more medals to his name than 66 COUNTRIES combined?! 😲
Michael is truly the undisputed #GOAT He’s trained and competed at the highest levels, he’s set world records, and forged a legacy of lifelong dominance unrivaled by any other. 💪💯🏆 Remember when he announced his retirement in 2012, and then made a valiant comeback for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro where he won five ADDITIONAL gold medals for a total of 23 victories — 23 NUMBER 1 placements in a competition that features the best-of-the-best in the ENTIRE WORLD??!!🥇🌎 #MASTERY
He may make success look easy to come by, but the truth is, Michael has faced tough challenges, both as a competitive athlete and in his personal life. Most people don’t know it but Michael has struggled with depression. For outgoing pro athletes and Olympians in particular (much like astronauts who have ventured to the moon), there is a challenge in returning from such monumental success back to daily life and feelings of loss can be common. We talk about this and more on the latest episode of the #TonyRobbinsPodcast
